Some geniuses in the Netherlands have come up with a valuable asset to both the medical and jewelry communities (read with sarcasm) called the 'cosmetic extraocular implant' (CEI). Their website describes how it is implanted. You can get a heart, a star, or a eurosign. Haven't you always wanted a eurosign in your eye?!
The procedure costs about $4,000. The risks can include chronic red eye, irritation, infection, foreign-body sensation, migration, and loss of vision. But we have two eyes, so why not take a major risk with one of them by sticking decorative metals into it?
