A Brazilian, Luiz Carlos Ribeiro, and his wife performed liposuction on a 24-year-old girl in the basement of their home near Boston. She died from a fat embolism- when fat globules enter the bloodstream and travel to the lungs, causing cardiovascular failure. He is being held on bail at a Cambridge jail, and other charges against him include illegal drug distribution. See the full story here.

Well liposuction at home kills and patients should not be stupid. Stupidity kills, really.
