Take some advice from Norman Means, a doctor who removes them:
• NAMES: Don't get anyone else's name tattooed on your body.
• COLORS: Stick to red and black inks.
• LOCATION: Don't get tattoos on your eyelids.
• PLACEMENT: Put a tattoo somewhere it can be covered by normal clothing
• LAST WORD: Think about it very, very carefully.
