Since our last post on NBC's story on the lifestyle lift, there has been continued controversy about this company and the promises they offer. We have seen many mixed reviews about this franchised style of facelift before, but realself.com has a discussion board that highlights the polarizing viewpoints on this topic. It may be that many of the proponents of the procedure on the discussion board are affiliated with the company, as is clear with a post listing many reference letters from the LL center. There are probably a good number of unhappy customers that voice their opinion, and the company is forced to respond on various internet sites with a defensive PR team. You don't often see this kind of angry debate with other procedures, aside from Thermage.

Has anyone had the LL in Independence, OH? I am scheduled to have it next week with Dr. Gentile. Can anyone give me any info

I had the LSL in Plymouth Meeting Pa. 5/16/07. It was and continues to be a nightmare. The results I was told I would get have never happened. I had large holes and abcesses by my ears. I read and signed the consent forms after being given the valium. I still have a weeping sore by one ear. Stillhave turkey neck, jowls all the wrinkles and my eyelids are not even. What a rip-off! I do have a plan that I think will bring good results. Anyone that had a lift in Plymouth Meeting I would like to talk with you. I live in Newark, DE

Hi,
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone that had the procedure in Plymouth Meeting, PA. I had mine there also & I am horrified with the results. Same as above, weeping holes in my face, ugly scars, numbness, etc. Adding insult to injury, there's been no change in my appearance whatsoever! I paid them to be scarred. Please contact me as soon as possible by e-mail if you are unhappy like I am.

This is the worst Co. to work for. They fire and hire every 3-4 mos. including Managers and staff. Their management practices are horrible, they do scare tactics, bullying, yelling, telling other employees about each others business, discrediting all employees work and performance, favorites and only if they like you (you have a chance). No human resource contact at all, they have a corporate office in Troy MI. and expect to handle all problems through one or two persons that's it!!!. They only come down to 30 centers when they want to "clean house" and fire people. They email each other all day talking and gossipping to corporate manager's about anything only by hear say no proof or discussing whats wrong. They spend more time on the email and the phone trying to get someone fired than doing their work. And it's all about Sales, Sales, Sales...they don't care about anything else or who you are as a person or a valued employee or the patients just the money, money and more money $$$. They have so many law suites against them from past employees because of their actions and how badly they treat you. I am so glad to be gone from that place, all who are still their want desperately to leave, but they have bills to pay, THAT'S THE ONLY REASON THEY STAY. SHAME ON THEM, THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN COMPLETLEY FOR GOOD!

Has anyone had the LL done at the Charlotte, NC location? I am interested in a upper and lower eyelid and neck lift. They quoted me $6500 which I think is high. I also want to see if there are other satisfied users here. thanks

I doubt all the proponents are paid off. There is way too many of them. There are many advantages to the surgery.

I used to work for this company, the main office in Troy, MI. The most horrible and depressing job experience of my life. I had more people calling, crying and begging for someone to please help them as they had holes behind their ears that wouldn't close, and unbearable pain, amongst many other complaints, and couldn't get as much as a call back from the doctor who performed the surgery(oops, we weren't allowed to use that word). One lady who's pictures were in the brochure and worked with me at the call center, had this surgery done, apparently THREE TIMES!!! and it actually fell again, and she refused to have it done again. I have received a few notices in the mail regarding law suits against the LL and I am not one bit surprised. This company is crap and so is the procedure. I highly do NOT recommend it. In response to JJ, I don't know where you worked, but I had pretty much the same experience being employed there. To Dr. Stewart, when the company tells their employees that their main goal is "to make the Lifestyle Lift the first brand name in plastic surgery" and has their employees posting fake reviews...I'd be shocked to hear that an actual real person had a good experience with this.

I need a chin lift and neck tightened but I've read too much negative stuff about LL. I will not be consulting these people at all as I know when I'm well off.

DON'T DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS LL COMPANY, IT IS A RIPPED OFF COMPANY. DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR COMMERCIALS, IT IS FRAUD. DISAPPOINTMENT IS ONLY THE BEGINNIG IN LEARNING WHAT THIS COMPANY CAN DO TO YOU. TO EVERYONE THAT BELIEVED IN THEM, IT IS ONLY ABOUT MONEY.
