This is an artist's rendition of the progression of Michael Jackson's looks based on his childhood photo if he had not had any facial surgery. Instead, he now looks like a melted candle.

Come on, his head is way too narrow and this doesn't even look like any of his MANY siblings we have as reference. Or parents. Why not use an older picture - AFTER puberty hit - to get a more realistic look? It's not like he started getting work done at 13.

His head looks "too narrow" because they took off the afro. No doubt MJ would have cut that thing as the years progressed. One would hope...

Is this supposed to be a PRO-surgery pic, because I'm not impressed--ugh. Why not at least include appropriate hairstyle and clothing to make it more convincing?
Posted by: Whiskers | July 22, 2007 at 01:10 PM
Also, why is he fat?

Ain't America great? The only place in the world where a poor black boy can grow up to be a rich, white woman.

I'm impressed that how many still spread that joke around to the point its so redundant, it looks any possible humor it ever intended on having. [yawn @ MJ jokes].
Anyway, THAT IS BULLSHIT.
First of all, they used a picture of him when he was a 11? Hello, enter puberty? What nonsense is this? I remember when I first saw it I couldn't stop laughing how someone can actually take this seriously.
Want to know how Michael would look like without surgery? He still has vitiligo, cosmetic surgery and a natural skin disorder is not one in the same. Just take any photo of Michael from Off the Wall (1979-1981) make his skin as pale as it is today and there you go.

At least start with some more recent photos before the surgery. O__O''

if you clicked on the link you would see who did the work and what they do for a living.

Amongs the dozen of different types of treatment available for vitiligo surgery is a tuff mode of treatment. It need the extraordinary skill of surgeon for for successfull treatment.

Still trotting out the old "vitiligo" argument even tho' MJ has NO SYMPTOMS or traces of the disease. If MJ had ANY disease, it's mental illness.

eeeewwwww
Posted by: jackie | August 31, 2008 at 11:50 AM
this is bullshit Michael would still have vitiligo and lupus and his faced changed when he went through puberty. take a picture of him right before the Off the Wall era and make his skin as light as it now then you would have a picture of what he would look like.
Can i say that we need to stop obsessing over his looks? Seriously!

Idiot(s); Michael Jackson does NOT have Vitiligo. That's just the story his people put out so gullible boobs like you will swallow this story rather than believe he's losing his mind. On his Off The Wall (an appropriate title) album, he has already had plastic surgery.

I imagine he would have looked more handsome than this, after all, he was the BEST looking brother in The Jackson 5.

I feel sorry for the level of ignorance some people have displayed over here. I am guessing they are whites and hence the term vitiligo holds no meaning to them. I am Indian and have some family members with the disease and God knows how devastating it is to their self esteem. The only way to effectively deal with it is depigmentation of the whole skin so that it evens out and that is what Michael did.
There are numerous pictures available on youtube that show him in his "black" days with patches of vitiligo clearly showing underneath layers of makeup.
To make fun of a serious condition just because of your ignorance on typically "non white" issues is criminal to say the least.

vitiligo is a terrible sicknesss that michael had and one should not make fun of it.he is not to be blamed because he did not give it to himself. All he did was to correct it. he is not the only one who suffer from this desease, when black has it they turn white AND WHEN WHITE HAS IT THEY TURN BLACK AS HELLL.so who ever is talking try dont have it or your chlidren BECAUSE THEN YOU WILL SEE WHAT MICHAEL WENT THROUGH. leave the king of pop personal life alone and pay attention to his music.WE ARE THE WORLDDDDD.(R.I.P MICHAEL)

God... i say he is ugly in these photos and ugly when he died but i think he shuld hav stopped having surgery in the late 80's and early 90's. he looked hot when he did thriller. anymore gorgeous and hed be freakishly weird,... but still tiny bit cute. there shuld b a limit placed down for how many face jobs u get. and to add on to that, no one shuld get a lip job. theyll just ruin ur love life so lip jobs in my book r now illegal. blah XP

Apart from a great artist and performance MJ was also a very troubled man. And we all know that...however, when I heared about how lonely he felt, how people kept accusing him of things he did or didnt do, my heart went out to him. Does it really matter if he bleached his skin? Perhaps I would have done it too if I had this illness. And if he simply did all this to himself,(and was not suffering from the disease) let us just imagine how he must have felt in order to put himself under all this surgery just to alter his appearance. In my opinion he was a person that with all his fame and glory could still not find peace within himself. So let us hope that he didnt suffer during his last moments and use his music to inspire us. The rest is history wouldnt you agree?

First off...THIS IS NOT WHAT HE WOULD HAVE LOOKED LIKE....this pic look a mess and it doesnt even look like this family memebrs and we know they all look alike in some kind of way...who really knows what he would have looked like and we cant jus guess it...i know he wouldnt have been that big because he is a pop star and his people would not have let him let himself go like that...THIS IS TOOO FAKE!!!!
Posted by: Lisa | July 10, 2009 at 07:57 AM
That guy is fat. Why. I do not think Michael would have looked like that. That man is ugly and does not look like anyone in Michael Jackson's family.
