A plastic surgery clinic in England called Transform has been using semi-celebrities for PR. This is one of the more popular and commercial cosmetic clinics in the country. The Lasik surgeons have been doing it for years, with seemingly little backlash.

This is becoming more and more prevalent. I believe MYA have recently done campaigns with celebrities too.
