Speculation about cosmetic surgery for Vladimir Putin

This image of Vladimir Putin published in Daily Mail sparked rumors of the Prime Minister's appearance.  When compared to older photographs, he now appears more youthful with dramatic differences in his eyelids, prompting some to speculate about eyelid lifts.  It points out the difficulty of being in a public position and the associated scrutiny.  His photo shows an upper eyelid hollowing, sometimes present after fat is removed from this area during blepharoplasty.
